My name is Michele and I have been the webmistress of Portals of Spirit since June 2000, the dawning of the new millennium. A Special Education teacher by training, I am close to completing my 22nd year. I have worked with the neediest students within the school system: mentally challenged, physically challenged, visually challenged, non-verbal, academically challenged, behaviorially challenged, high-functioning Autistic as well as severe Learning Disabled. I currently hold a Masters of Education (in Literacy), completed in July 2006.
